01 — The through line
A journey across creativity, knowledge and entrepreneurship.
My professional journey has never followed a single path. Photography, technology, travel, education, Wikimedia and entrepreneurship have all shaped the way I see, create and contribute.
Photography taught me to observe. Technology taught me to build. Wikimedia taught me to share knowledge freely. Teaching taught me to simplify complex ideas. Travel connected me with people and places, while entrepreneurship gave me the opportunity to transform ideas into meaningful ventures.
02 — My story
From Rajbiraj to Kathmandu.
I come from Rajbiraj in Nepal's Madhesh region and have built much of my professional journey in Kathmandu.
My academic background in Computer Science and Information Technology introduced me to technology, digital systems and the possibilities created when technology is applied to real-world challenges.
At the same time, photography became an important way for me to document places, people, cultural heritage and everyday life. What began as an interest gradually developed into serious work in travel and documentary photography.
My involvement with Wikimedia expanded that purpose even further. Instead of photographs existing only in personal collections, Wikimedia gave me an opportunity to make visual knowledge freely accessible to people around the world.

Photography is one of the strongest threads connecting my work.
I focus on travel, landscapes, cultural heritage, monuments, festivals and communities. The aim is not only to create beautiful images, but to document places and traditions that deserve to be preserved and shared.

Alongside contributing my own photography, I have had the opportunity to serve as a jury member for international Wikimedia photography competitions, reviewing and evaluating photographs submitted by contributors from different parts of the world.

Explore my Wikimedia workI have been contributing to Wikimedia projects since 2014, with Wikimedia Commons and Maithili Wikipedia forming an important part of my open-knowledge journey.
My contributions extend beyond editing and uploading photographs. I have been involved in community programs, outreach activities, photography initiatives, workshops, conferences and projects focused on increasing access to knowledge in regional languages.

Graphic design has been an important part of my creative and professional journey, allowing me to combine visual storytelling with communication and digital media.
My work includes branding, social media creatives, promotional materials, travel marketing designs and digital content created for businesses, organizations and campaigns.
My background in photography and technology strongly influences the way I approach design — focusing on clarity, visual balance, usability and meaningful communication rather than decoration alone.

08 — Travel & Himalayas
A career shaped by travel.
Travel has connected many parts of my professional life. Working within Nepal's tourism and trekking industry has given me firsthand experience in travel operations, sales, marketing, digital strategy and customer experience.
It has also taken me closer to the landscapes, communities and cultures that continue to inspire much of my photography. That experience eventually became one of the foundations for building my own travel ventures.
